Players will know right before Diablo is about to cast Red Lightning Hose, because he will ready both of his hands in front of him, instead of raising them in the air as he does with most of his other attacks. This is what makes Diablo one of the most difficult bosses in Diablo 2: Resurrected. It's an incredibly powerful lighting and physical attack that can kill characters in an instant. However, when Diablo indicates he is about to use his Red Lightning Hose attack, players must try and avoid it completely. Most of Diablo's attacks are fire-based, so with enough resistance, players can continue to attack him while using health potions without too much difficulty. There are two essential tactics to beating Diablo in Diablo 2: Resurrected: run from his Red Lightning Hose attack, and create a Town Portal just outside the boss arena. Players won't have as high-level gear as they will when fighting him on Nightmare and Hell, which means they can't rely on superior stats to see them through the fight. Beating Diablo on Normal difficulty in Diablo 2: Resurrected is one of the hardest challenges in the game.
